Excellent..

I would love to see this meet start at 125#. I think it would give us an early indication of what type of point total our guys need. I'm hoping the same Prata, that hung on against Mueller (6-2) and Vitali (4-2), both top 5 wrestlers from last year, will somehow hold Rivera in check. If we don't give up any bonus points at 125 or 157, I think it will be almost impossible for Northwestern to generate the points needed for a win. If we give up 5/6 at these 2 weights, this dual gets really interesting. Maybe, I'm being too much of a homer here, but I think we could possibly get bonus points from MM, DMF, Bolen, and Borst. I don't see any marquee matchups in this dual, but the two weight classes I have my eye on are 133 and 174. As previously mentioned, in other threads, these 2 are probably tossups. Gerrardi, is up against a guy with a little more experience on the collegiate level, which can be huge. Hughes, has a winnable opportunity at 174. If he comes up short here, I just don't know how many chances during the season he will have to claim victory. Win these 2 and I think the Hokies roll with 6 or 7 wins out of 10.
